Wow. I'm glad to see this. I would be pleased if you could post your art more often.And your new covers for Maxx are pretty amazing. I'm wondering if buying remastered old variants was good choice, d'oh! :-}
I love photos 5,6,7 of the eye and then the face, it has that Barron Storey vibe to it.
Awesome!What is it that you use in that sketchbook?Is that watercolor, ink and pencils?
Great work Mr. Kieth. I very much enjoyed receiving and reading the catalogue from the Cartoon Art Museum including a sketch you made on the inside. Thanks a bunch! The first book of Worlds of Sam Kieth was also an incredible insight into your work and I was really intrigued by the colors and the manner in which you create your worlds and its inhabitants. Keep going. Hope to meet you in person someday. Best wishes- Elliott
I love all the textures you have added to all your works that I have seen recently of course my favorite happens to be the maxx up there. I remember how I felt the first time seeing wolverine drawn by you. I thought everyone should try at least that hard and everyone should enjoying drawing as much as this fella. It set a major standard to what I enjoy about art to this day. What is the point in doing anything half ass anyways. Every page in any book I read that you drew was an adventure.
awesome stuff as usual Sam! what's your con schedule like this year? any chance of a stop in Vancouver??
those are awesome.
Fantastic, love the new Maxx covers.Thanks for sharing, share more!
Whoa! who is Woody?really love the white highlights really gives your art that Frazetta frenzy look! MY copy of "Worlds of Sam Kieth" sleeps on my 11x 17 scanner tray like it was made to fit there lolI could imagine you making an eye out of Sculpy and placing behind a hole in that face drawing. Or did you already do that it seems so ALIVE!Is is me or is this post have no words? heheCan't wat to see the remastered uh whats that character called, we used to call him "Purple Bunny" back in the day in my circle of friends.Purple Bunny baby!@!
I love the Mars Attacks cover. The baby alien reminds me of the frog and the scorpion fable.
